Starving Artist - what appened here???

Does anyone know if this Abingdon Landmark has plans on reopening?? It has been a favorite of ours for the past 15 years and we were very saddened to discover it had shut it's doors and was for sale. We would drive a hour and a half one say to dine there frequently. Hope someone has some info.

Starving Artist Cafe is not closed... it has just moved to Bristol. That is about 15 miles down the road... They may have a website, I don't know, but they have moved into the building that houses Greene's Fresh Seafood, a gourmet seafood retailer...seem appropriate since the S.A. has great seafood... I have not been there yet but friends have said that it is just as good as when in Abingdon.

The Starving Artist did go out of business, but the cooks now work at Pop Ellis on Main Street. They have the same menu as The Starving Artist, you won't be disappointed.
