Three Frontiers...How close to Iguassu Falls

We are visiting the Argentina Side of the falls tomorrow...and want to know if there is a bus we can take from the falls to the 3 frontiers. If so, which one, how long would it take?

Bom dia, Bahia!

The Three Frontiers pylon is about 15-20 km from the actual falls. Naturally, it's along the Iguaçu River, just south of the city of Foz do Iguaçu.

The actual point lies in the middle of the river. In honor of the location, each country has erected a concrete pylon on its respecive territory. It's difficult or impossible to see the other two pylons, and there is no floating marker at the actual geographical point in the water. The falls are not visible at all.

From the Brasilian side, I think I could see the Paraguaian pylon, but it was very far away across the Parana River. The Argentine pylon was invisible from Brasil.

Frankly, we did not consider the spot worth the trip. It's just a concrete pylon over looking the junction of the Parana and Iguaçu rivers.

Happy travels!
