Stay at Cataratas and eat in town?

We have decided to stay at das Cataratas for our 2 nights. Is it possible to go into town one night for dinner, or is that a hassle?

It is possible, no problem at all. Just ask for a cab.

The hotel has taxis the majority of the time at the entrance. It is about 10 minutes to downtown and cost is around $30 reals. (little less than $15 US) There are local buses that run to Centro and costs are $4 reals. The hotel again can help. Just pull the cord when you see someplace you would like to stop.

The Cataratas highway goes into Centro and there are many dining options on the edge of Centro and Centro itself. Also the other resorts along the highway have nice dining.

Enjoy your stay in the Park. You will save money being close to the Falls, Bird Park, airport and AR.

The TA map search is a good tool showing the dining and attraction locations.

Have fun,

A gaucho show can be interesting at night:
