I will be in Rio at the end of this year, from 28th of December to 6th of January and beside the NYE on Copacabana, I would also like to visit: The Sugar Loaf, Cristo Redentor, Tijuca National Park, Corcovado, Pedra da Gavea, favela tour, etc...
I think 10 days is more than enough to cover all the above, but I would like to have an advice on how is the best to organize the visits: by myself using the public transport and queueing for the tickets, or paying a little more to a travel agent who could save time (I hope) by organizing the transport and purchasing the tickets for us. Given the peak period, I am afraid all the tourist attractions will be overcrowded.
We will be a group of 6, consiting of two families.
Many thanks in advance for your advices!
