Brazilian Wandering Spider in Rio?

I've read, that in Rio that spider lives. I hate spiders and I'm affraid of it. I wanna know is it possible, that I will meet this monster in Rio de Janeiro (city). I'm not gonna go to the countyside, because I know that there are a lot of them.

I'll be very thankful for answers.

I've never seen any spiders in Rio, to be sincere. It's a huge city, with 6,000,000 people living in it. Very busy, lot's of traffic. Yes, we do have a forest, but you don't need to go there -- and if you go, I don't think it's very likely that you'll find a spider.

I would be more worried with mosquitoes. I got a nasty mosquito bite on my leg when I was in Corcovado.
