No tickets needed as far as I know.It is organized by FIFA.com but it does get packed from pics I have seen from the last World Cup.I was planning to watch the WC games outside Rio over there for some of the games and was planning to watch some from some bars in Leblon.

Enjoy,

Vijay

Subway, for sure. Make sure to have your subway card (or 2 single cards -- just be aware that each single card is valid for 48h) pre-purchased, in order to avoid eventual lines at the stations on match days. There are three stations in Copacabana. You'll get the Line 1 train (heading to URUGUAI station), left the train at Botafogo Station and then catch the Line 2 (PAVUNA-bound) train, which will pass by Maracanã Station. Cheers
