sun beds in nessebar

just to advise anyone visiting Nessebar that the price of cloth unberellas and sunbeds on the beach has increased from 7 leva to 10 leva each, the wicker umberellasand sunbeds remained at 7 leva each.

also it is a good idea to take some wet wipes with you as a lot of the beds had bird droppings on.

It was reported that an Increase was likely due to the bad storms over the winter which wiped out a lot of beach bars and beds etc. But 7lev to 10 lev is a massive increase.

Did you notice any other changes?

We are staying at the Mirage at the moment and love to spend our days on the beach. Unfortunately 10 lev per parasol and sunbed is outrageous in a country where most everything else is reasonably priced. Remember these sunbeds have no pads (unlike Sunny Beach) and are beyond the term "uncomfortable". The 7 lev small parasols would barely protect a bikini line their shadow is so small. We tried the 10 lev zone on our first day but won't be back.

We have purchased a large parasol & two sand mats and use the flat free beach zone at the Cult Beach Bar about 1km south from the Mirage.

Two nights and so far struggling to find any bars with live music in New Nessebar other than Niko's Place. Any regulars point me in the right direction?

Hi

If you walk up the hill from Niko's theres a small bar at the Junction thinks it's called the Hawaii Bar they have bands on sometimes but always good for a drink. The large open air restaurant aprox 10 metres from Niko's have live Bulgarian music and dancing. There are a couple of places in Ravda that have live music which is approx 30 mins walk or 1 lev on the bus.

The problem with Nessebar is that it is mainly residential so you dont get a lot with live music.
