We are planning a trip to JZG 25 october.
- will i miss the beautiful colorful foliage?
- is Huanglong park likely to close this time if it gets too cold?
- any possibility of snow this time? what's the most likely forecasted temperature... Appropriate clothing?

I haven't been there, but have heard that late October is the best time to visit.
It will be very cold late Oct. We went there late Sept (several years ago), already snowing up in Huanglong. I heard the park is closed during winter season, not sure exact time though.
Huanglong:If it rain continuously and iced up the wooden step,it will be very slippery,there is a possibility the place will be temporarily closed until weather permit.
Bring along a hot water vacuum flask to quent your thirst at the cold enviroment.
The air at the high altitute is very thin and be awared of high altitute sickness.Also carry along a oxygen cannister for breathing difficulties encountered and woolen glove to protect from extreme cold. weather
(Hung chin thien) a enegy tonic,available in glass ampule is suggested to be carried along to relieve the high altitute sickness(available at the mini market during stop over.)
Otherwise the place is extremely beautiful and the scenery is fantastic,a very worthwhile visit.
