Early ferry Hvar to Split

Hi

We are staying on Hvar for a week in September and are flying out from Split at 10:10am on 17th Sept. We have already booked and paid for 7 nights accommodation on Hvar - would the 6:35am ferry allow us enough time to make our flight? We would happily book a private transfer/taxi from the port to the airport to save time.

Advice welcome :)

Providing the catamarans are running normally you will get to Split in time for the 8am airport shuttle and be at the airport at 8.30am. Check the weather forecast to make sure there's no storm and rough seas.

I guess I have to ask what other options do you have? Looks like that might be your only option unless you left a night early to the mainland.

The catamaran from Hvar town is early enough, but as said above, if there is a storm it could happen that they will not be running.

To be on the safe side if the weather will not be fine, take the early ferry from Stari grad at 5,30:

ferries run always, and are never late, unless there is a terrible storm, which does not happen so often, maybe once in a year or two years.

I think the 530 ferry is a great idea and your safest bet.
