I am not sure this trip is still running, due to the fact you have to travel over land to the Taba border crossing!
You may find companies still running the trip, but bare in mind, this road trip would take you over amber land as advised by the FCO as a do not travel area, and for that reason your holiday insurance would be invalidated should anything happen to you.
I will back up what's already been said. You can only get there overland , there are no flights into Israel from Egypt. It's a real shame as the trip to Jerusalem from Shsrm was amazing, even though it was a really long day
The trips may still be going with local companies but this really wouldn't be a wise decision considering the FCO site's advice
Trips are still going ahead for tourists of other nationalities, but one problem since the floods last month was that the Taba border was closed in the evening from, I believe, 7 pm to 7 a.m. ( whereas before it was open 24 hours a day ), and that means it is no longer possible to make the trip in one day.
thanks for all your advice, won't be going this time round! Shame
