You won't find info on oil spills affecting Roatan because right now none are. As others mentioned, the gulf thing is like a 1000 miles away. I guess it can have an affect if it raises oil prices you may pay more for gas on the island but that could happen in Wyoming or the Dakotas as well without even having shoreline.

wow GTBob - you know that say "there is no such thing as a stupid question"? Could you have tried to embarass nanaimo any harder? TA is supposed to be a place where people can ask any question, why is it that so many people who are regular posters have to put everyone down so much? Not everyone has been there, not everyone has the time to search the forum for any little thing - why can't people just answer the questions or stay silent? Sometimes people just think of something and ask the question without doing every little thing to find the answer themselves. You are all really discouraging people from using the forum the way it was intended. Everyone feels that they have to think twice before posting, fearing someone who knows more than they do will make fun of them somehow.
