Hi Raghu, during July it's possibly gona rain. Its the monsoon season however the hotels will cost you cheap. So good luck. Bytheway, how long are you planning to stay. Don't miss the houseboat stay. It will be amazing experience for honeymooners.

Its monsoon season in Kerala and best advised to carry you rain-gears like umbrella raincoats etc if you plan to travel around. its would be better if you book in a resort with some space and swimming pool where you can spend most of your time in the resort chilling and lying back.

June/July is monsoon days in Kerala.

The monsoon will be very pleasant here in Kerala than the summer months. The main reason is the rain water will be running down and disappear in a short time and the road will be clear for traffic. There will be no hazards. Many foreigners are coming only to enjoy the rain called to be monsoon tourism.(Visit Kerala Tourism site), ...my personal opinion rain in Kerala has its own romantic aroma!!!
