Hi

you may plan like kochi>munnar>thekkady>kumarakom>alapuzha>kochi

Half day is enough for kochi sightseeing.

3 days is requured to cover all major places in munnar.

1-2 days can be spend in thekkady.

1 day can be spend in houseboat either in kumarakom or alapuzha.

Either day trip in houseboat or overnight stay in houseboat can be selected.

Other boating options in.backwaters are canoe ride, shikkara ride etc which will be less expensive compared to houseboat.

Spending a couple of days in kumarakom.back water resorts is a good idea where you can enjoy the beauty of backwaters.

June and july months will be having heavy showers due to monsoon and august and september will have moderate rain.this time you can enjoy monsoon tourism and off season rates are applicable.you may not be able to do continous sightseeing in these months.

If you want to include a beach, you may consider cherai in kochi or marari in alapuzha.

If any furthur help required, yoy may post here.enjoy your trip

Hi,

You can start off with Kumarakom where you can spend a couple of nights. Major attractions would be canoeing, fishing, the bird sanctuary and a museum. From there take a bus/cab/boat to Alappuzha. In Alappuzha spend a day on the houseboats and the evening at the beach. Early morning next day, take the Kumily bus from Alappuzha (be careful not to miss this one as there is just this bus from Alappuzha to Kumily every day). Explore Thekkady and next morning take the boat on the Periyar. Later in the evening take a cab to Munnar and stay in Chinnakanal. Spend at least two to three days there and come back to Cochin to end the tour.

Hi,

its better to start with cochin, sightseeing can be covered in 1 day. next day to munnar 2 nights will enough to cover the attractions. next day head to Thekkady 1 night will be enough. to kumarkom 2 nights is reqiured as you reach there by afternoon. next day take the house boat. House boat check-in timings is 11:00 am & check out is at 09:00 am.

Hi.

Vinu's suggestion looks very cool and relaxing. Give atleast a full day to Kochi (Go for Jetty Ride in evening to Arabian Sea, buy premium Cashew, Visit fishnet & Vasco di gama grave, etc).

Spend good time in Munnar, its a place you will love to revisit. Stay a lil away from town, and enjoy the greenery and serenity of Munnar.

Houseboat at Kumarkom will be another attraction, not to miss.

Regards
