Wagah border to Amritsar railway station

We are arriving on 2nd jan 2013 in the afternoon to Amritsar. We have the second half on 2nd and will be departing for new Delhi by the 21:25 train. Considering that we do wagah border on 3rd afternoon would we have enough time to drive down to Amritsar rely station

for wagah you have to reserve your timings 2 pm to 7 pm ( asr stn >wagah>asr stn) and with a reserved cab or auto,

return with public vehicle may make you delay due to crowd.
