Wagah Border Ceremony

Can you please advise us on anything that you think may be helpful on this visit. We understand that as international visitors we will need our passports, also that cameras / video cameras are allowed but should be carried as they are as bags are not permitted? Can someone please advise if this is correct and any other tips or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
