Hi Appu1986,

One day would suffice to cover Rameswaram if it is a normal pilgrimage visit. But, if you are planning some ceremonies or have an agenda, then the duration might depend on that.

Hi..

It would be easier if you could spell out your travel plans. The duration depends on your convenience and budget. A lot of places can be clubbed along. So, if you could indicate your travel preferences & interests, we will be able to suggest.

9. Re: A tour to Rameshwaram

Hi Prassana,

please advise.

I am planning a trip with my family of 4 to rameshwaran. We will reaching in night at 8.30 pm on 25-Oct to madurai have made reservation with TTDC in madurai for overnight stay. next day we will travel to rameshwaran and stay over night over there and leave on 27-Oct back to madurai.

Please advise

1. Whether it is necessary to have a car for the journey from madurai to rameshwaran and back from 26-27.

2. Whether car is availible in Rameshwaran or the car is not required in Rameshwaran?

3. Whether 1 day will suffice for rameshwaran.
