baggage drop-off in ayutthaya station or the historic site?

Hello,

We are wondering if there is a (reliable) baggage drop-off at the ayutthaya train station or at the historic sites. We are coming by train from chiang mai and want to move on to bangkok in the evening, after viewing the historic site. We are not sleeping in ayutthaya. Perhaps a hotel that would do it for a small fee, if there is none at the station or the historic site?

Thanks a lot!

Most stations and I think Ayutthaya is the same, have good left luggage places for a small fee. Otherwise you could book a cheap guesthouse for the day and use it to freshen up before your onward journey.

No left luggage facility at Ayutthaya.

There are a few guesthouses a short walk from the station. Seven Seas Riverside perhaps has the best reputation of these. Turn left on exiting the station. They're on Facebook.

Get a room in a guest house for the day, leave your luggage and you'll also be able to shower and freshen up before traveling on.

Sorry, I got the name of the guest house wrong. It's Tanrin Guest House which has a restaurant called "Seven Seas" in front. It's not Seven Seas Riverside.
