Seakayaking to islands

Hello all,

Is it possible to hire a kayak from somewhere on Ko Lanta and paddle out to neighbouring islands? I know of the mangrove forests trips but was hoping to find a deserted island nearby!

All the islands on the west coast are too far to kayak too- but you can hug the coast. On the east coast there are closer islands and the mangroves. Two companys come to mind Peng Yee Village & Lanta Longtail both on the East coast. In Lanta Old Town many places rent kayaks this season. Good Luck!
