Money changing on Ko Lanta

I have read a brief message on Ko Lanta QnA but would like to verify that we can exchange US dollars into Thai Baht at these banks and what would be their opening hours?

There are two banks on Lanta (Siam Commercial Bank, TMB) they are almost opposite each other in the main shopping area in Saladan.

Are there any other places on Ko Lanta where we can exchange the foreigner currency into Bahts?

thank you

There is another bank about half way down klong dao beach. The US dollar still has a bit of value so I'm sure they will accept it :-).

They worked office hours (Mo-Fr) but our trips were in the green season. The banks/exchange might be open longer in the high season.

Why not take some plastic and use the ATM machines. They might charge 150THB for the transaction but its better than loosing a bag full of dollars.
