Questions on the ferry trip.

Hello everyone. We are going to Koh Tao next month and looking at the option of taking the ferry to Surit Thani. Does it go from Koh Tao direct to Donsak Pier and what time would it get there please.

Also, It would seem the trip price includes a bus trip into the city from there ? How far is it to city centre and how long please.

Regarding the night boat, if you choose that option, make sure you go on the ko jaroen night ferry and not the wooden cargo boat, ko jaroen has aircon bunk beds and is really clean , leaves at 9 pm gets to surat at 5am weather dependant , also it only leaves 3 times a week , think monday, wednesday , saturday , need to double check that though if your interested

If you're going to Khao Lak it's more comfortable and quicker to go via Chumphon, Lomprayah and mini-van. 10.30am Lomprayah joint ticket arrive Khao Lak at 19:45. Far more enjoyable journey.

With regard to contacting Lomprayah, I previously had similar problems with the web links and ended up sending them a message via their Facebook page. Problem was solved almost immediately (they passed it on to the relevant people). Whoever administrates seems to be more on the ball.

Thanks. We don't do Facebook, I'd like to say we are the more "mature"genertion. Our kids do so might get them to do it for us.

Hello

We want to leave Ko Tao per night boat (Ko Jaroen), we travel with children. Is it safe (no theft issues as we read that can happen on some busses) and how is sea sickness?

We then go to Khao Sok, is it correct that we then have to wait from 5 till 7/7:30 before bus starts to ride or mini-buses?

Thank you
