My partner and i are trying to book a trip for Egypt/Jordan...
Then we will be going to Wadi Rum staying the night and then Driving to Petra (stay the night) doing a tour of Petra (complete with a horse ride? should i want to do this?) and winding up at the dead Sea.
After two full days at the dead sea we will be driven to the airport in Amman stopping to look at Madaba and Mt Nebo.
The entire trip will be with a private guide and with private transfers.
The cost (my real question) excluding hotels to do the above will be $595 usd pp.
Is that a good deal or am i being ripped off?
My agent told me that tour costs (compared to Egypt) are crazy and that the Jordanian government sets a lot of the price.
