If you want to be sure to dive Sipadan, you should stay with Seaventures. They guarantee you a Sipadan permit if you stay 2 nights with them...

It an old rig with a very nice dive site down bellow. They give you unlimited free dive down there and regarding Sipadan they just charge you RM 40 extra for the permit...

At the end and after looking around it's the cheapest opcion to dive around Mabul and to be sure to go to Sipadan.

If you want to have some days without diving, Pom pom is a nive opcion as the island is very nice. Nicest than Mabul for sure.

If I were you, I would look to combine both 2 night on Seaventures and then 1 night or 2 at Pom pom...

Enjoy your diving!!!

if i was you i would stay at sipadan inn. its RM84 /night, the rooms are clean, there is wi-fi and hot showers. great option for semporna. there is a dive centre next door called sipadan scuba that do dive/snorkel packages that include guaranteed trips to sipadan, they are a very professional centre that have an online booking service www.sipadanonline.com and everything can be arranged through there. hope you enjoy, sipadan is amazing even if its just for snorkeling. it changed my life.
