Hotel Mermaid

Firstly, thank you all for taking the time and effort to contribute to this forum, it is appreciated.

My wife and family are staying at the Mermaid Hotel the last week in June 2008 for 2 weeks, its my big 50 birthday. Please can you advise on what the weather is likely to be.?

Many thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

Generally, weather is bit unsettle in the month of June. However, it does not mean to say raining all the time. Mostly rain is in the later part of the day. Mornings are mostly sunny.

Hi Peter

Just a little addition to your posting, remember to MAKE sure that you highlight your big day on the registration form when you check in, or get a family member to drop a hint or three a couple of days before, then the hotel would do a little something for you on that day!!

Weather wise?, well no one can forcast this right now, and just recently there has been some pretty awful stuff causing flooding in some parts of the country including the west coast too, not really what they may expect righ now.

Regards

We enjoyed two weeks at the Mermaid June/ July last year and the weather was fine, there was some rain but it mainly fell at night or late afternoon. It did not impact on our enjoyment at all.

Obviously this year could be different...

Have a great time there, we did.

We will be in Waikkal the same time as you will be at the Mermaid, so we are banking on good weather too. :)
