Weather will like be sunny mornings, some cloud build up during the afternoon which may end with a late afternoon/evening shower.

Hi

The end of July and beginning of August is rather sunny days in the moring and cloudy in the evening to the Southern parts of the island . From May to August the Yala monsoon brings rain to the island’s southwestern half, while the dry season here lasts from December to March.

Not quite true.

The wettest months in the southwest are May, October (2nd half) and November. Mid July to mid October is pretty dry.

BTW monsoon means wind - not rain.
