Planning a trip to india delhi, mumbai and goa

Hi, im currently booking a trip to india. We are planning to travel to delhi for 4 days then to mubai fir 3 days and then to goa for 2 weeks, then back to delhi for return flight.

Id like advise on reasinabley pruced hotels with good lication to the citys, preferably with shuttle transfer. And tips on the best airline fir internal flights between citys. My issue with flights is baggage. Our main flight will have 40kg baggage allowance, but some internal flights only have 15 or 25kg allowance. The flight from delhi to mumbai shouldnt be an issue, as we are planning on traveling light initially. But after shopping in each city we may find our baggage size will increase. The flight from goa back to delhi will most certainly need to be maximum luggage allowance. So any advice would be much appretiated, we are flying in Feb 2019.

Thank you

Mark

Hi Mark,

The domestic flight baggage allowance is 15Kg + 7Kg Hand Bags only so I will suggest you to left your extra luggage in delhi hotel only before leave to Mumbai & Goa and pick the same before your final flight from delhi.

As far as hotels are concerned, can't advise without an idea of budget. But Central Delhi (Connaught Place, Karol Bagh) would be a good choice in Delhi. South Mumbai (Fort, Colaba) is a good choice in Mumbai.

On the luggage issue, why don't you book a multi city ticket from Manchester to Delhi and Goa to Manchester, instead of a round trip ticket between Manchester and Delhi. By eliminating the last domestic flight, you can get the international luggage allowance from Goa. For the other domestic flights, choose Air India. They are the only airline with a 25 kg limit on checkin luggage for domestic flights.
