Accommodation for families

We are a family of 5 (3 kids aged 10, 12 and 18) planning to spend a month in India. I am trying to find accommodation where we don't have to book 2 rooms. Can anyone recommend a place in Delhi?

A few hotels have large family room/ suite to accommodate 05 people. You may ask with your preferred hotel for this facility. I would suggest you to have two rooms instead of one large room , as most of hotels almost charge double for big family room.

May be you can book family suite in each hotel as for children more than 10 year old they will provide only 1 extra bed and you have 03 children so you have to take either two rooms or you can go for family suite

You can try Paharganj or Karol Bagh area. There you will find hundreds of budget hotels.

Pahar Ganj is horrible (back packers' ghetto), but Karol Bagh is better...

We stayed at Aashiyan in Delhi in November 2013. We booked two rooms, with a shared bathroom in between. It's a lovely home in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was great, and we also paid for one dinner, which was one of the best meals we had during our trip to India. Kiran and PJ were gracious hosts, and when my wife wanted some suggestions on where to go shopping, it was Kiran's advice that really helped us.

Cottage Yes Please in Pahar Ganj (back packers hub) offers such rooms. Centrally located, 10 min. by foot to New Delhi railway station & 5 min. to Rama Krishna Ashram marg metro station. This is a basic budget guest house, not exactly spotless but pretty good for Pahar Ganj & with AC & hot showers.
