Planning to travel in & around Delhi from 24 July - 29 July

Hi,

I am planning to travel in & around Delhi from 24 July - 29 July. Can some one please suggest some destinations. Agra/Jaipur/dehradun/Mathura/Vindavan already visited.

Was planning to visit shimla/Dharmsala, but heard its rainy season in those months over there, chances of landslides...Is it true??

Can some one please help..??

A triangle tour will be good Delhi - agra - jaipur - delhi, but I do not think there will be any land sliding situation around dharamshala and Shimla. Yes if you go up from manali . It will definitely be cooler dharamshala still has some rain, its something you need to cope with when going in that area . Cheers

Hi,

The landslides are more around Uttrakhand and Kinnaur district in HP. Unless, it is very heavy rain and everything is impossible. Going to Shimla, Dalhousie and Dharamshala is all fine.

Try Palampur near Dharamsala and stay in tea estate. Got to Baijanath temple from there which is 600+ years old. Do paragliding in Bir-billing in case skies are clear.

You may plan Delhi - Shimla-Amritsar- Delhi or can add Chandigarh before Delhi.

Hey,

If you really wish to travel to any Hill Station then I would suggest you travel to Nainital about 8 Hours from Delhi, very scenic with beautiful lakes, you may also like to spend one day at Jim Corbett National Park while coming back from Nainital to Delhi.

Piyush Sengar

Apart from the above suggestions, you can also consider visiting Corbett+ Nainital or Haridwar+Rishikesh.
