Is it OK to visit Darjeeling between July 4 - 7 , 2012? I heard about the bandh and ws told to wait till the 17th to understand the impact and if it is risky to go there now? Please advice as all arrangements have been made but I can canel.

Hi Ashis,

Thanks a ton for your conitinuos support and help to travellers. I am a becoming a fan of yours gradually....

It will really helpful for me as well as other ppl (who wish to travel to Darjeeling around july first week), if can kindly share the some link where the news of the BANDH being called off is published.

That will give us a complete understanding of the current situation there.

Thanks again.

Hi Perkmania

Sorry, there is no 'link' as such, local tour operators of Darjeeling updated me about the bundh. I believe they are reliable source.

Hi Ashis Daa,

Thanks for your reply... In that case, should I continue with my tour (June 30 - July 2), or should cancel it... I cannot postpone it... That's why I am a bit worried...!!!

Thanks for your understanding and help...

BR
