Need help with planning to visit Darjeeling.

We're a group of 4 adults, 2 kids. Planning to visit Darjeeling in January 1 to 5. Please advise where should we stay and also which places we should visit during our stay. We will love to visit Gangtok and other attractive places - need advice.

You may plan to stay for 2-3 nights in Darjeeling, then you can leave for Gangtok, and stay there for rest of the days, and return to siliguri to catch return train/flight,

For sightseeing, please check the tripadvisor link-- Places to Visit in Darjeeling and Places to Visit in Gangtok, cabs are available for sightseeing, you can book through your hotel or book directly (which will be cheaper), they will charge according the number of sightseeing points.
