Dolphins

We hope to visit the Gulf Shores area in March, 2012. Where is the better place to see dolphins, the bay or the beaches?

We had one swim through in July while at the beach.

We also took a Dolphin Cruise. It was $15 per person and they guarentee you'll see dolphins. We drove around for about 20 minutes then had several jump & play in the wake. Very cool. They have an afternoon one and a sunset cruise. We did the sunset cruise then ate dinner at Flippers at the dock.

We love to watch the dolphins from our balcony. Usually we see them early in the morning or late in the evenings. We get excited every time see them.

We have seen them in the inter coastal water way at Lulu's. Very cool setting at Lulu's watching the dolphins and having dinner. Have not seen them every time but more than once.

We always see a dolphin or two from our balcony in the morning or evening. We did a dolphin tour with Cold Mil Fleet (reviews are under the Orange Beach "Things to Do" section) and for $12 each we had an awesome 1.5 hour cruise and saw about 4 different groups of dolphins.
