Bubbles has a new place this year, about 200 yds south of Holiday St on right side, 1st floor of a hotel with entrance at the side, almost next door to Toto's..Bubbles used to run Pearls bar some years ago down a lane near Calangute market

Hi we have been going to calungute -baga for over ten years ,there are many many good shacks our favourite is the big banana at the bottom of CSM road . The food is fantastic and very competitive ,Sima and Francis are the owners, who have built up a large client base who return year in year out because it's the best shack. Unfortunately we are giving the area a miss this year, as the baga road has been the victim of dreaded road works for 2 years, and the area has suffered as a result. We are trying canacona this year for a change, do try RELISH restaurant down the baga road from calungute, turn left at baga deck 100yards, best we've found.Hope the road works are not a party pooper? Happy hols

I concur with your recommendation of Big Banana allanhussey,I only had it confirmed a couple of days ago that it was up and running this season. We' ll be arriving next week. First visited 20 years ago. It's four years since we were in Baga..many changes I reckon.
