For rental properties look here www.ownersdirect.co.uk or www.holiday-rentals.com

September is a bit early in the season and it's unlikely that the beach shacks will be up by then as there could still be a good chance of rain. There will still be places open but it won't be in full swing by then. The season proper runs from November to April.

I can't believe the rental prices for properties on those sites. They are ridiculous prices for India ,probably at least 3 times the actual rates available localy.

All the rental prices advertised on the internet are well over-priced.You would be better to get a hotel for the first couple of days and ask around. You wil have no problem finding something.

It is early in September in Goa. This time period is like off season for traveling Goa. Rain can also upset you. You should prepare from November to mid April.

The most peaceful time to be in goa is surely june and july as there are not too many people. But in anycase you're looking to goto goa to really feel the place then you have to be there when Goa is Filled with people. Alot of people from different countries and alot people from within india then Nov and Dec is the best time as well May.

In Goa you can find the best as well as budgeted rentals apt. hotels what so ever you want.
