In Benaulim, there are two money change places by the crossroads near the supermarkets, south of Maria Hall, going towards the beach.
There's a restaurant, on the left, just past Kadar Supermarket, that has WiFi access.
Thank you for the info. Really appreciate it.
Bank of baroda in Benaulim just by Maria hall.
The Kingstork i know is in Calangute and nowhere near Baga.
You're a taxi ride to Maria Hall and the crossroads. Or at least a long walk.
Joecons is near the Taj. I don't know that area very well so can't advise on money changers or ATM's. Hopefully you'll find somewhere nearer than Maria Hall or the German Bakers at the crossroads,
Sorry you are right. Got confused!
Zumbrai shack on the beach near the taj will change currency but not TC's. They give a very competitive rate
There is some money exchanges in Holiday Street but if you come out of the Kingstork and walk to the top of Holiday Street and turn right there are plenty money exchangers about. We use a little shop there called the Ritz and its also good for anything else you may need.
Also turn left at top of Holiday Street and cross the road to a little shoe shop near Lumar supermarket where Mavis will change your money for you.
These are both about 10 minutes walk from the Kingstork.
There is free wi fi at La Fenice italian restaurant, if you walk up Holiday Street and turn right at the Seagull and meander past Little Italy and Manthaven Homes guest house you will then come onto La Fenice. The food and staff in there are also very good and it is open all day. This also about 10 mins away from where you stay.Edited: 17 October 2012, 12:39
Some great advice. Many thanks for taking the time.
We have changed money at the shop outside Joecons restaurant in the evenings, and he gave us good rates.
Hope this helps.
Plenty of places in Benaulim as well, easy to find them, there are two in the main village as well as the bank at Maria Hall.
