Hi Lin

Welcome to the Goa forum

If you take them take Sterling.

Lots of places change them but we just take cash and cards

We always take them, no probs getting them changed and we've always had the the same rate and changing cash.

We took sterling travellers cheques (if you order by phone from Halifax over £300, they are commission free, too!) and had no problem changing them - you just need to show your passport when changing them. Rate was 1rupee less for travellers cheques, at Marlin Exchange in Titos Rd, Baga, but barely made a difference in the grand scheme of things!
