Bike/Scooter Rental

Hi

We're staying near Palolem for 3 weeks over Xmas and New Year and think it might be a good idea to rent mopeds/scooters. Any recommendations on where offers the best deal and reasonable quality bikes? Also any ideas on likely costs? What do we need in terms of license?

Thanks

Allie

Hi Alliedive,

This is a question that regularily crops up so by putting in a search you will find loads of information and tips. BUT you need to have an International Driving Permit 1949 type to ride on Goan / Indian roads and as MOST vehicles are 100 cc or above you do need to be holding an English liscence for m/cycles .

Liscences available from

http://www.theaa.com/getaway/idp/index.html

or perhapps a local main post office in your area.
