Blue Lagoon Palm Villa or Octopus Two bedroom family villa

Hi,

I am trying to decide between these two options.

The agent that I spoke to said that the family villa at Octopus is actually just two point bures next to each other, which means that there is no interconnecting door. Our kids are 1, 4 and 5 years and the older two always run and jump into bed with us in the morning. I have a horrid fear that they could go out onto the veranda and then see the beach and go down there. I also don't like the idea of having to lock them in their own room at night while we sleep.

It seems pretty difficult to book the Palm Villas at BL but they might work better. I have been to BL before and absolutely loved it. I am worried that the beach at Octopus is also not as nice for swimming for the kids.

Should I be considering Castaway?!?!?!?

Knowing both these resorts well and having stayed at both with young children - Palm Villa at BLBR definitely. The beach at Octopus is steeper and can have crashing waves - although there is the option of the pool if the sea is not calm. The beach at BLBR shelves very gently and the sea is almost always calm due to protection from other islands - we had 6 children from one & half years to 8 years there and they played happily on the beach and in the water with no problems. If you'd like more info send me a PM.
