What sort of food is available on the Yasawa Flyer?

Hi, we are travelling to Nanuya Island on the flyer next week but because we're driving down from Tavua we'll be leaving our hotel before breakfast. Will we be able to get a proper meal onboard or do they just sell snacks?

Thanks

Hi, when we were there six months ago, it was just snacks - soft drinks and packets of chips. You could probably grab brekky from Port Denarau before boarding - have fun - its a pretty trip out to the islands!

Get something at the Marina - coffee shop right there, or there is a grocery store. Minimal choice on the Flyer.

Sandwiches have usually been available, Lulu's cafe next to the wharf is handy to buy brekkie or go to the bread shop for bagels etc. We travel in the Captains Lounge and they have Croissants availble and coffee, plus ;snacks included in the fare sandwiches you can buy on the lower deck at your cost. The Flyer leaves at 8.30am and you ned to be there 30 min before departure, earlier will give you time to eat there.

Thanks everybody, that's exactly what I need to know.

It looks like I'll be stopping at a shop before I board.

There is a supermarket at the marina but it is not the cheapest but still probably cheaper than the Flyer. remember that Fiji dollars are a lot less against most other currencies so what may seem expensive is really not too bad when yo do the conversion. The $40 dollars if Fijian is not too bad for what was described by Cassie D about Aussie $ 24.

Even when converting it to Aussie dollars it was still a lot when you compare the prices to other shops, we refused to buy food on the way back
