Costa Rica for families resort help

We are trying to decide between costa rica and st lucia.

Traveling with kids 6 and 9. Looking for a All inclusive resort anywhere in costa rica The kids club is not important to us as we stay with our kids.

Looking for a good beach, great food and fun things to do.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

The 2 more deluxe all inclusives are the Riu Guanacaste and the Westin Playa Conchal. Others are Hilton Papagayo and Barcelo Playa Langosta. They are all in Guanacaste and you would need flights to Liberia. All inclusives in Costa Rica are a little insolated

Drar fun

Thank you for thinking about visiting us...

In my country the best by far AI is Westin Playa Conchal...some as RIU you better check reviews...I do not think they like animals around there...they broke every enviromental rule while they were builiding that atrocity to wild life...even humans die...not good news...just check reviews...most of them about 75% have nothing good to said...!

Hotel Barcelo Playa Langosta is not isolated at all...offer a great beach location and not hard to get to Tamamrindo downtown...even that is a lot smaller than Westin is a lovely AI...highly recommend by many people...

You can fly to either airport LIR or SJO...but if your vacation is focus on Guanacaste province better to fly into LIR.

Be sure to dealt directly with services providers...to avoid any scam!

Yes do check the reviews on Riu most people are very satisfied and those are real travelers who stayed at the hotel not just sharks that drive by and have never stayed there. You will also find reviews on the other hotels. Just search for the hotel names in the Costa Rica hotel section on trip advisor. Another option less expensive is the Flamingo Beach Resort they offer an optional all inclusive plan. Have a great trip in this beautiful country!

Great suggestions by MikeA943, as always, the clear difference is he stays at the resorts and hotels he recommends, a big difference when you get a hateful post from someone who just drops the traveler at the hotel front door. This country is not known for AIs, but if that is the vacation experience you are looking for, then the RIU should be considered. Btw, 75% of the reviews are very good to excellent, so you can go there with confidence. tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g2561261-d11548…

Have fun planning your vacation, and do come and enjoy our country as much as we all do.
