Day or night pass for Tabacon Hot springs?

Will be there early March and would like to do one of the day pass options at Tabacon. Is it better to go in the day time so you can see all the grounds or at night when it may not be so hot outside? Also is it necessary to book in advance?

We visited the nearby Paradise Hot Springs at night by the suggestion of our guide because it's too hot to enjoy them during the day. You don't see the grounds as much, but you do enjoy the pools. March is one of the hottest, driest months in Costa Rica and La Fortuna gets very hot. You're not going to want to sit in the hot pools when it's 100 degrees F outside.

The best to enjoy the Hot Springs the most is when it's little cold and is drizzling. I was fortunate to have enjoy them when it was cold and raining. Heavenly feeling. Didn't want to get up from under the waterfalls bench.
