One way transportation from SJ(airport) to Poas to Arenal?

We're getting to Costa Rica early (see Costa Rica Forums, San Jose Metro discussion, "How long does going through customs take in the SJ airport?") with 2 small bags and no car. As our rafting trip seems iffy (tight connections), the other thing I'd love do is to visit Poas, have lunch somewhere and then go on to El Castillo in the afternoon.

Does anyone know a company or person who does offers something like that?

Well any thing is possible...it takes about 30 minutes to 45 minutes...depending on how many flights are at the tarmac...and if your luggage get out fast...

Poas is about 1 hour and half from SJO each way...from SJO to El Castillo in Arenal about 3 hours and 45 minutes...

You most hire a private driver to do that...no problema...

You might try to book a 1/2 day tour to Poas through

Exploraciones Tropicales ( they would take your bags with you) . Pick up can be at the Holiday Inn area across the airport.

You can book interbus connection to pick you up in the afternoon from the same hotel.
