beach relaxation

We are traveling w/ our 16 year old and wanted to stay at a lovely beach place for about 5 days. Some place directly on the beach that is simple and elegant and would be comfortable to stay in. Not a mega resort. More like Tulum. Thanks.

Any thoughts about Santa Teresa vs. farther North. Booked to fly into Liberia so I know drive to Santa Teresa kind of long....

There are several, beautiful bed and breakfast places right on the beach in Tamarindo. Would that work for you.
