Outlet question...

Can I use my US plugs in Costa Rica? I know last year when we went to Europe we had to bring converters and all that stuff so wondering if I have to find them again? Thanks!

Yes, voltage & plugs are the same as in North America. You may want to bring a 3 prong (grounded) to 2 prong converter as not all electrical outlets are grounded.

I also recommend unplugging any portable electronics during lightning storms as the electrical system can overload & a power strip may or not protect your gadgets.
