Transport - need help please

If we drive (hire a driver) from San Jose to Hotel Los Lagos is Proyecto Asis on the way to the hotel? How far from Los Lagos is P. Asis?

How far from Los Lagos (in minutes) is Hanging Bridges.

How to find a driver for us in Arenal who can go to these places and also stop for lunch in Fortuna(Taxi too expensive).

You can make Proyecto Asis be "on the way" if you want, it's literally only 10 minutes out of the way so not a big deal. Usually when you visit Proyecto Asis you should allow at least an hour though so make sure to check how much you'll be paying the driver to wait.

Hotel Los Lagos to Hanging Bridges is @20 minutes.

You may be better off booking a tour so that the transportation is included and a guide will make sure you'll see a lot of animals. Hanging Bridges has thick foliage and it's difficult to see birds, etc without the trained eye of a guide so it's a win-win. :-)

As for food, I'd suggest you ask the driver from San Jose to stop at the Super Cristian #4 market on the way to your hotel for some drinks, sandwich making ingredients & snacks...this will save you a ton of money! ;-) The market is less than a 5 minute drive from your hotel. Enjoy!

Also ask the driver to stop by Los Angeles de San Ramon and buy some great QUESO PALMITO...incredible cheese...and they make the best around there!
