Tabacon a la carte lunch

Can someone tell me a little bit about the "a la carte lunch" they provide? Is it sit down or serve yourself?

This would be a sit down lunch

You order off the menu instead of a buffet; at the restaurant at the entrance of the spa portion of Tabacon. Prices range from $12 for grilled veggies to $18 for a burger/fries (it was big), chicken panini/fries was about the same. Guacamole appetizer $6 pp with a few chips. The food was good, but not worthy of the expense, in my opinion. We stayed at Tabacon for 2 days last week. There's nothing inexpensive diningwise at Tabacon.

The best food deal at Tabacon is the buffet at the springs which we liked enough to have twice. Not a bargain but comparatively reasonable for a couple. The restaurant was a bit over-hyped. Fine and pricey but not memorable. Breakfast was good enough, too. My advice: just bite the bullet and eat where it is easiest while there.

Not the best food and really expensive...maybe some good salad...find a good palce in town for dinner like Don Rufinos...with the money you safve you can pay the taxi fare round trip...prices at Tabacon are a little to much...and once again food is not the best around!
