Mountain Paradise Hotel - Shuttle/Arenal Weather

Can anyone who has stayed there tell me about the free shuttle from the hotel to La Fortuna?

Secondly - I will be visiting the second week of October - what is the weather typically like at that time?

They have the free shuttle to La Fortuna normally 4 times a day at scheduled times. When you check in they will give you the schedule. October is part of the rainy green season, this year has been very dry. You can normally expect sunny mornings and some rains in the afternoons.

October is dry most of the time around Arenal ...since they are located at the Caribbean side of Costa Rica and is summer like kind of weather...

El Niño weather factor is on this year that means a lot less rain!
