Bring it along - just in case. Some people are more likely to attract mosquitos than others and if you don't have any repellent, they won't enjoy themselves. My partner, for example, can go anywhere in Costa Rica and never see a mosquito while I'll lose a few pounds of blood everywhere I go. Hence, I make sure I bring it along.

Keep to unscented lotions and cosmetics, take garlic tablets a couple weeks ahead of time, bring spray with deet, and Benadryl tablets and gel just in case.
