Looking to stay at a beachfront hotel

My boyfriend and I will be staying on the Nicoya Penninsula in January and we would like to stay at a beachfront hotel. In my research I am coming to find that these places are few and far between. Any recommendations?

Ylang Ylang in Montezuma is one of our favorite places everywhere.

Hi,

Ylang Ylang, s as beach front as you can possible get in Montezuma! It's amazing. Also, Samara has lots of lovely directly on the beach hotels.

Hope this helps,

Thank you everybody for their response! Can you expand on the beachfront hotels in Samara? And anyone have opinions between Ylang Ylang Resort & Tango Mar Beach Resort?

These are some beachfront hotels:

Fenix house

Hideaway

There are some that are about one block from the beach.

Also, Playa Carillo is one of my favorite, very low key, 10 minute drive from Samara and just lovely!

For beach front places in Santa Teresa:

Hotel Tropico Latino

Flora Blanca

Milarepa

Villas Hermosa

Casa Cecilia

you can find a price list and description of some of these on: http://nicoyapeninsual.com

...depends on your travel budget.
