Where to spend our last night

Our flight will leave Liberia at 7:50am. Should we spend the night closer to the airport, or will staying our last night in Tamarindo be okay?

You most be by the airport at least 2 hours prior departure...that means 5:50Am...leaving Tamarindo at least at 4:30AM...maybe nicer to stay around the airport...

we also took that 7:30 am flight. we took a prearranged taxi at 4:30 am from our tamarindo hotel. it worked out great!! there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. Much better to spend your last night in paradise.

Make sure you eat dinner at Seasons

I am not a morning person so might consider also

liberiacostaricainfo.com/Hilton-Garden-Inn-L…

new very nice...

cabs have been known not to show at 4:30AM so better safe than sorry

get a top reliable provider like EcoTrans if you try to come in fron Tamarindo

in the early AM pretty risky...

Good luck,

I have to agree that you must have reliable transporation if you leave at 4:30 a.m. I have been stood up at the early hour by taxis and it is not fun. Try Mop Adventures www.mopadventures.com or yeffreyr@hotmail.com.

We have stayed at Rancho Armadillo near Playas los Cocos when we have had an early flight, even tho we own property in Playa Langosta (Tamarindo). It is only 15 min from LIR and is also close to the beach for a good dinner the night before. The Hilton is closer but not so vacation-y.
