room choice

Looking for input on room preferences. Wondering which is a better option - - garden room or sloth suite? Thanks!

I like the Garden Suites better, more roomy, and nice that they have AC now, in case you needed.

AC sounds very appealing. Spotted a few posts about the garden room being too noisy hence the concern. Will take your advice though since you have contributed so much helpful advice to fellow travelers via the forum! Thanks for the speedy reply!

The two are very different. The second floor sloth cabina is separate from the hotel and is smaller but with a large open air terrace with some ocean view. The the garden room is in the main complex and has no sea view but comes TV, AC and a large indoor patio with bathtub.

We opted for the Garden bath solely for the AC and were glad we did. The other thing that should be noted is the AC is only in the room not in the patio area / bathroom which gets very hot when the AC is on. I would agree that the Garden room is a little noisy but it didn't really bother us as we were out the door early every morning with adventures.

I like the 2nd floor rooms because I like the sea view from the balcony but agree with others about garden cabins. Red Frog room is great if you are with friends. It has nice size patio and turtle pool and table/chairs. The mosaic in the bathroom is beautiful. We also really loved the apartment which offered lots of space, kitchen, open concept, view. The sloth cabinas are nice, with great view and shared deck/kitchenette but there can be more staff activity because laundry and maybe tool shed is on ground floor underneath. In my opinion they're all great - I love that place!

Thank you all for your helpful responses. Think we'll opt for the garden room since we expect to be out and about early as well.
