Transport between Jaco & Tamarindo

We were thinking of staying in Jaco for a week and then moving to Langosta Beach (near Tamarindo)

Any ideas the best way to transport 4 people?

OP, a shared shuttle is the least expensive way to make the trek...check with Grayline http://www.graylinecostarica.com/ or Interbus https://www.interbusonline.com/home/home.asp for times and rates.

Just a thought-Jaco and Tamarindo are quite similar destinations in the great scheme of things (both Pacific coast beach towns although Tamarindo much smaller). Costa Rica is very diverse and some visitors choose to combine visits to the rainforest and volcano and then hit the beach, to experience different vegetation, wildlife, activities etc. Of course its your vacation and wherever you choose I hope you have a great trip!

I agree the shared transfer would be a great way for you transfer and not so expensive. Interbus has a great service.

Since there are 4 of you, there will likely be not much difference between the cost of a private driver and a shared shuttle service, but with a private driver you'll have a lot more choice about timing and stops en route.

Many good options...rent a car...shuttle buses...public buses...

You can even take a water taxi from Jaco to Montezuma and then bus all the way to Tamarindo...long ride but a nice ride...

You can check Gray Line...well respected shuttle company and with all the ICT Secretary of Tourism ceritification...the onle way to go...with companies with good certification...no a phantom company...recommended by shady partners!

I would also recommend pricing a private driver vs. the shuttle. If the price comes in similar or close to it, this would be the way to go. Last March, two friends used Grayline from Tamarindo to Jaco Beach. They were very happy with the transportation. Lisa

Def get some quotes from Private Drivers. I love Juan Carlos and Rubier. They are so much fun and you will have a great day traveling around.
